Things Learned:
I learned that I had this temper that flared when I would point at something I needed (narcotics) and no one understood. It was like I was a toddler. That temper grew when I would write down that I needed medicine and neither Christian nor my mom could read my writing.
Darvacet is candy. It also is worthless in pill form to someone who just had their tonsils removed. So, my alchemist husband learned how to crush them and separate each pill inside a glass with glasses lined up on the counter full of white powder as my rations for the day. Roxicet (Oxycodone Hydrochloride and Acetaminophen) sucks at first because it makes you puke, but then, then becomes your friend. Note: is addictive. Oh, and fever sucks.
Trivial (or not so) Side-note:
I currently sound like Juliette Lewis in that movie that I can't think of the name where she falls in love with boy just like her who is also mentally challenged. My pride might be what is suffering most right now because I have fear that my voice will never be the same. The Dr. said it could take up to three months to return to nowmal. (Yes I meant to spell normal that way because that's how I sound).
And so, if you're an adult and your Dr. tells you to get you need your tonsils out, even after a second opinion confirms, don't do it. I would say it's worse than 32 hours of labor (of which the first 24 were without medicine) with Thomas + labor and delivery with Wyatt + recovery after both deliveries.

I'm sorry you felt so bad!! Oh and the name of that movie is "The Other Sister."
i picked up our pictures at Mother's Day Out yesterday, and i just had to smile to see Wyatt so prominently in front in the group picture (tell me you got one!). he's such a character! sooooo cute. and i think the rest of the kids are all showing so much personality; i LOVE this picture.
feel better, my friend. i'm sorry it's been such a tough road to recovery.
