I think that I could live in NYC for the rest of my life and STILL never see all there is to see. Whew! Do I go see the Guggenheim, The Met or The Museum of Natural History (have already been to MoMA)? Of which restaurant of the 17,000 here in this city do we partake? Did you know that several of the species in Central Park are not indigenous to the area and that most of the rock formations and topography were created by sticks of dynamite, but that the natural topography of the area is actually quite rustic and rolling if it hadn't been leveled?
My feet keep walking. I'm pretty sure, too, that there is even a whole other side to this city a tourist could never fully appreciate. I believe I got a glimpse of it at Union Square farmer's market last Saturday morning. What's funny is that while at Union Square, amongst the hippies, hipsters, activists pushing Obama anything and local farmer's, that place (so far) is what felt most like home to me in this crazy-strange city. I even got some gluten-free, homemade pumpkin spice bread and fresh apple cider there! Fabulous.
Off to make a go of another day.
