It Got Delivered

Wilco came and put on an even better show, in my opinion, than in Memphis, kids. I was skeptical of the venue, being that it was at the WAC. We were in the balcony near the front in our assigned DD seats. I have to say, besides the few that wanted to keep their seats during the show, it was a great view.

They are just so talented. They were hilarious, too. There was the over-enthusiastic and somewhat "altered" fan in the very front row waving his hands and distracting the band. Mr. Tweedy called him out in a very funny and actually gracious way ... bottom line is that he asked the fan to save his enthusiasm for between songs as he had broken two strings and had sound trouble with his amp which was interrupting the show for the rest of us.

They played some of their older stuff,too, even tho they're promoting their new album. I like when bands do that. They answered the encore call twice for like five more songs which was very cool.

Great night, that Wilco show.
