Thomas after having just woken up on his birthday morning. He is looking out our window to the back yard at his new present. Yes, his hair looks like this every morning.

Somebody LOVES his birthday present. He is in his pajamas and socks and it's below freezing. You'd never know it by his face though. He could have stayed out there for hours.
So, along with the Grandparents, we all chipped in and got Thomas a trampoline for his birthday. He has jumped and jumped on our neighbors trampoline. He asked for one for Christmas, but, Santa apparently didn't come through. Christian put this together in the freezing cold dark the night before his birthday. The net didn't get fully fastened, but hey, it's in the middle of tax season and Christian got like five hours sleep that night. He deserves the Daddy-of-the-year award in my book.
Obviously, Thomas LOVES to jump.
He asks to play a game we made up several times a day. It's called, 'Bad Mama Tiger.' I sit in the middle of the trampoline and get him as he jumps around me. Sometimes he runs around me. I ferociously roar like a bad mama tiger does and he giggles from the deepest depths of his belly. I love this game. When I catch him, I ask him if he is sweet or sour. If he's sour, I have to let him go. If he's sweet, I tickle him and eat him all up. I already have trampoline burn on the top of my foot because, he's fast man!
Wyatt's first spin about ended up with a busted face and it was my fault. There was blood. I bounced him and he flopped and ended up on his precious little poor face. I really truly am a bad mama tiger. He was fine though. The boy was bleeding from his mouth and he never cried. He just bled all over my shoulder and wanted down for some more. What a tough kiddo!
Lots more Bad Mama Tiger to come.

Elizabeth - I just found your blog!!!! What a treat! I loved reading this, laughed, giggled, and missed you all at once. I even went back to March 3 and cried with you. I'm in awe of God's workings in you. You have come a long way, Baby...I'm so proud of you...how God has blessed you, your life, your family. I am blessed today because of you. Love you! Kathy R.
Kathy,
To have my mentor read my musings! What an honor! I try not to name drop too much, but, that paragraph in the story about Dad with the 'five years into' bit was all you. I couldn't have stood back up without you. To pieces. I mean it.
