Wow. It's been, like, two months since my last blog. In all fairness, it was busy season at work and this year at work was the busiest ever. By the way ... I'm also in MY FIRST TRIMESTER OF PREGNANCY and the sick really threw me for a loop.
I have made it through it all and in case you didn't catch the first trimester bit, we're pregnant! I'm 20 weeks now, and we found out last Friday that IT'S A BOY! I'm so thrilled that we finally got to see his precious little pecker because this whole time I felt like he was a boy. Either way, healthy all the way.
Because it finally felt real after the ultrasound, Saturday night, Christian and I went to the NWA mall like jr. high kids and went to the Razorback store. Christian picked out an official Adidas onesie with a razorback on it with a matching bib and booties. I wrote the old blog titled, "Curveballs" like the day after we found out we found out we were pregnant. It has been so good to let this exciting life milestone sink in and get to the point where it feels real now.
It was not expected. Apparently, we brought back this little souvenir from our trip to Europe. Which, I drank a lot of beer while I was there, so no telling what this kid will be like...
I'm due Feb. 27, 2005. According to my ultrasound it's more like 2.24, but they kept my date at the 27th and said, "well, it looks like you'll be having a baby at the end of February..." Nice. So, we're counting on him coming then.
Crazy, huh? Still shaking my head about it all...
